  • Type of Learning (Bloom’s Taxonomy): "Understand" if students are watching and listening to instructor created slide sets.  Student could use it to "Apply, Analyze, Evaluate, and Create" depending on the assignment.
  • Type of Learning experience (Dale’s Cone of Experience): Demonstrations from instructor or student who created the VoiceThread
  • Integration of Tool for Teaching and Learning;
  • VoiceThread may be used by instructors to create recorded lectures with slides that are automatically captioned.  This makes them easy to share with students in remote learning or for students to review apart from a class setting.  In addition, students are able to comment on VoiceThreads to ask questions or respond to instructor prompts.  Students may also create their own VoiceThreads as class presentations.  This can be done by individuals, or the sharing capabilities of VoiceThread lets a group of students work together on a group presentation.  This tool works well as a one to many communication tool, presenting content or assignment responses, but it also can be used for discussion and commentary from the entire class or among students.
