  • Integration of Tool for Teaching and Learning:
  • Lucidchart has many uses.  It is a tool for creating online diagrams, and has a large library of symbols and templates to help with this.  It can also be used as a mind mapping tool for brainstorming, or to create Venn diagrams, flowcharts, and timelines.  Instructors may use it to visually depict class content in terms of processes or relationships among elements and concepts and share them with students either inside of Lucidchart or embedded in other documents and tools (Google Docs, for example).  If kept inside Lucidchart, an online diagram can be contributed to by an entire class or a group of students.  Comments and feedback can be added to the document by an instructor to help guide students.  Students may create their own Lucidcharts individually or in groups as parts of assignments.  The charts can also be used to stimulate discussion in classes by identifying a process or components of the topic being studied, and students can suggest ways to rearrange the diagram.  Completed diagrams are available for easy review when shared with the class.
